Post and Homogenic are the core of Bjork's discography; the rest is all about moods. I see you have discovered Vespertine, which is a very celestial record. I often listen to this one when I am confused and need guidance. Listen to Debut if you want to dance your face off. Listen to Medulla if you want to get even weirder and deeper into her obsessive mind, or your own for that matter. Listen to Biophilia when you need to relax, and then listen to Volta if you're into Antony and the Johnsons and/or Timbaland.
Needless to say Medulla is my shit, and I am confident that it will soon become your shit as well.

I bought Vespertine the day it came out and absolutely fell in love with it. "Hidden Place" felt like a song written specifically for me. Winter started perticularly early as fuck up in this snowy cold ass burgh in 2001 and Vespertine could not have been a better daily soundtrack for the long dark cold Edmonton months.
But seriously...those flowers are seriously beautiful and i will curb stomp you if fuck them up.
But really.
Don't fuck up my azaleas.

There's a making-of DVD that's available on Netflix and is very insightful. And by insightful I mean you get to see Patton growling into a lot of microphones.
Best of both worlds, save for the hideously disDr. Garbanzoured nutsack.

A+) Homogenic A-) Vespertine B) Post C) Medúlla Debut Volta
Haven't listened to Biophilia enough to give it a grade. But B.jork doesn't put out albums that are below average, in my opinion, even Volta. I don't know why it gets such a bad rap, honestly.
