Avey Tare touching his nipples live is so different from Avey Tare touching his nipples on record. Some people really hate it; some love it. You just have to acknowledge going in that Avey Tare touching his nipples live isn't going to be the same as Avey Tare touching his nipples in the studio.

You're totally right, dude. I listened to the new single and now I'm listening to Live at Pitchfork, and the crispness of the nips especially shines through on the former.
I can't let it gooooooooooo

This album would easily make my top 30. Then I saw them live. Imagine a Mick Jagger wannabe strutting around stage lifting his shirt performing a surprise strip tease while rubbing his nipples. I understand this is what some Liars fans love about the dude, but fuck that. Can you imagine the same thing happening at an Animal Collective show. NO FUCKING WAY.
I can't give them a proper attention anymore, and I'll go out of my way to avoid seeing them live again. |

Was that on their 2007/2008 tour when he broke his back and was doing the Frankenstein thing with the table and a Heineken? If so, I ate that shit up. If not, I still eat that shit up. |

I think that was tour I caught, but he did not have a broken back, anything but. He was all over the place, "I'm a stripper, I'm a garbage man, I'm angry, I'm confused, I'm a ballet dancer, I'm frying balls, I'm happy, I'm disappointed, I'm humping the stage." It was the closest thing to Jello Biafra live I've seen, and Mr. Jello goes through 30 emotions in 45 seconds.
It just didn't match their sound. He acted like how I would expect one of the lead dudes from LMFAO to act. He wants to be the show, but he's a nobody, and their music "should" be the show.
I'll never get it.

Interesting. When I saw them on that tour his back was very broken. He came out doing a Frankenstein "dance" and then sat down at a round table and proceeded to drink 4 or 5 Heinekens. Seems like a much more suitable approach for him.

How's the Grimes album? Im thinking I might like it, based on the one song I've heard so far.

If that 1 song was "Oblivion" then I think you'll like the album. That song is pretty good compared to the rest, though. Seems like she'll be a good time live if her sound system is poopin'.

The second half of that Grimes album falls super flat to me, but Oblivion is one of the coolest songs ever!

Burial - Kindred EP
As far as dubstep whatever ambient electro goes, it's alright, but I don't really understand the hype. Any fans?

Liars - Wixiw Liars - Sisterworld Liars - Liars Liars - Fins to Make Us More Fish-Like Liars - They Were Wrong, So We Drowned Sigur Ros - Valtari Circle - Serpent Brian Eno - Here Come the Warm Jets Circle - Rakkaus Tulessa Circle - Soundcheck Circle - Infektio
That Serpent album contains the best Brian Eno cover I've ever heard of 'Here Come the Warm Jets'. It's like 12 minutes long, and even then I couldn't get enough and had to immediately throw on the original 'Here Come the Warm Jets', followed immediately by Here Come the Warm Jets.
