I saw them at Deck The Hall Ball (Last time I'll be going btw) and they were definitely not atrocious. Although the video of them playing Infinity Guitar Guitar was definitely pretty bad.

I just hope the crowd isn't a giant group of fucking zombies again.

Either way, he said they're going to Sasquatch, so that adds to the expected factor at least a bit?

The Decemberists are going to be at Sasquatch. Nobody should be surprised by this. NW band, perennial Squatchers, new album, and at least half a dozen cousins/neighbors/bosses/Colin Meloys have confirmed it.

Also regarding the Sleigh Bells thing, I just noticed that they're touring with CSS for a part of tour. Considering they're confirmed for Coachella, maybe they'll show up at Sas as well?

Regarding Sleigh Bells live, I don't like accusing people of lip-syncing, because I wasn't close enough to tell if this was indeed true. It did feel like half of the vocals were lip-synced, and most of the music came from pressing play. There was something really cool about hearing their music played so loud though.

I've seen some really amazing live Sleigh Bells videos and some down right JESUS CHRIST GET OFF THE STAGE live videos from them. I'm hoping for the former. Their CD wore itself thin pretty fast with me, but it's been a while since I've lost my fucking shit during a show so I'll probably be that asshole clubbing HG in the back of the head with my flailing arms. Maybe that baby will be there too. Do babies like Sleigh Bells?

someone mentioned that Sleigh Bells are touring with Neon Indian. I just read on Stereogum that Wayne Coyne might be collaborating with Neon Indian. Think about that!
