Drew - I'm sure (like the rest of you are) that they will have their own night. But for all we know that concert site could be right too... And what I explained above would be the likely scenario behind it. It's all just speculation.

Stamper- Thanks for pointing that out. I thought I saw it mentioned somewhere on this board a few days ago but I didn't see the argument behind it.

Did you notice that, a few days ago, there was a 40-page long thread with a similar title to this one? Did you notice that we're no longer posting in it? Do you have any theories as to why that might be? Would quoting the first post of this thread, taking language directly from the board's only administrator, do something to help with that?

Stay on topic. Stay grounded. Put wild, baseless speculation elsewhere,* like the wishlist thread.

*Yeah, what you're doing counts.

It does count, because it's RIDICULOUS to assume that two headliners will both play on Friday. It's like if I made several posts about Radiohead and Daft Punk performing together. "I know this is unlikely...but would they have a band on stage, or would there be a light show, or..."

And NINJA was a totally special circumstance.

And websites often list the first day of a festival if a band doesn't know which day it's playing.

I8: before I lure myself into "cluttering another thread" I will explain this in detail to you.

1)i'm pretty sure that old thread was discarded because of the five pages of Dr. Garbanzohting. More specifically, you guys bullying Switch around.

2) all of what I said IS BASED on the rumor of AF playing Friday... And it is in no way a wish of mine. Daft Punk And Radiohead is not the same thing. The case with NINJA is that they were already touring together. I think it's a safe bet that anybody who is touring with FF at the time will probably be at Sasquatch.

3) Rather yhan being an ass to those with ideas, try investing in that scroll button on your mouse if you don't like anything I have to say. Otherwise you are just contributing to the "clutter"*. its not like I've posted in here much within the last few days.

*Yeah, what you said counts.

That is all.

No, no, no. The impetus is not on the other posters to skim past your attempts to turn this message board into your personal Livejournal. The burden is on you to stay on topic. You're right -- you haven't posted much in here recently. Try to dig deep into whatever restraint you found last week and bring it back.

If that happened, it will be more of a bro-quatch than when they got Kings of Leon headlining...

Listen, I'm a Weezy apologist, and I love a lot of his music, but I definitely don't want him at Sasquatch, and I definitely don't want a hip hop night at Sasquatch. Fortunately there is no chance that either of these things will happen.

Actually the most important part of that tour is that Mix Master Mike is on it, which probably means no Beasties shows during that time. I think they were all-but-eliminated from contention, but that should seal it.

it cant be worse than kid cudi's set last year. though mainstream hip hop music live is usually awful with the tracking they have behind them.

God Cudi was bad. Between the Cudi fans and the Girl Talk fans and the heat that year, '09 took a lot of patience.

New tour dates for Sleigh Bells:

05-23 Edmonton, Alberta - Starlite ^
05-25 Vancouver, British Columbia - Vogue ^
05-26 Portland, OR - Roseland ^
05-30 San Francisco, CA - Independent ^
05-31 San Francisco, CA - Independent ^
06-03 Aspen, CO - Belly Up ^
06-04 Denver, CO - Ogden ^

Does this confirm Sleigh Bells and maybe Neon Indian?

Also Echo and the Bunnymen playing west coast in may with no PNW dates. I would love to see them there. Where would they be on the poster?
