I would say the arctic monkeys are a sub that could maybe headline....and they are playing some fests later in the summer in europe, probable not big enough to headline in america though.

Ok, screw The Smashing Pumpkins. I never owned any of their material, I was just thinking of big name bands that might possibly headline. I didn't know anything about their recent drama and splits. I was thinking along the lines of past artists that have been at Sasquatch that were from that time period. NIN, Janes Addiction, REM, etc. I was thinking out loud. Red Hot Chili Peppers would be a good show. I have never really been a huge fan but I have seen some of their live videos and it looks like a good show.

Hey dude, instead of just hollering whatever band name pops into your head, why don't you try connecting your brain to your personality?

Read your post: "I don't even LIKE Smashing Pumpkins, I was basically just talking out of my ass! I totally, totally take it back if that isn't a band you guys like!" It's so goddamn cloying and stupid, dude, FOR FUCKING SERIOUSLY. We'll ignore that you don't seem to know the names of any bands that didn't have massive radio success in 1998 if you will PLEASE just SHUT THE FUCK UP and THINK before you speak.

No, they're not. Nobody in America ever gave a shit about Arctic Monkeys, thank god. Then again, nobody in America gave a shit about Kings of Leon until they signed that deal with the devil or whatever they did to make that watered down bullshit they play so successful.

Once again you are bashing me for having a conversation. This board is about having a conversation about Headliners in this case. I was thinking about past trends of Sasquatch in the picking of headliners and there always seems to be one band that was big in the 90's so I was trying to brainstorm possibilities. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Pixies, Rage Against the Machine. Shit dude, I'm just trying to fucking discuss what this thread is about. You don't even contribute shit to any discussion you just bash what everyone else says. Now that I think about it they already have the Foo Dr. Garbanzohters so I guess that fits the category I was thinking about. Fuck off.

Switch, you have been re-classified. Your board name is now Towelie. Go to the control panel at the top of the board, click 'Profile', then 'Modify Profile' and change your display name accordingly.

Who. The fuck. Are you.

And who. The fuck. Is Modset Mouse. From the sounds of it, they're a smaller headliner? Like Arcade Fire is?

I've got my money on Arcade Fire. But in no way are they to be considered small. They will be headlining festivals bigger than Sasquatch.

If we're getting technical, Arcade Fire has, what, eight members?

I kind of understand what skeettrap is trying to say. But those bands aren't too small anymore. Skeettrap? Thats a interesting name. If I am correct skeet is a word that rappers came up with to confuse white people into not knowing what they are refering to. I can only imagine what a skeet trap is. Ha ha. I like it.
