I wouldn't mind them playing sasquatch, but current smashing pumpkins headlining would just be a waste of a headliner.

I've never seen them and I am not really familiar with their new stuff so I was just asking a question. I'm obviously out of the loop on your endless conversations about how much they suck and don't belong at Sasquatch.

They aren't even the Smashing Pumpkins anymore. There's only one original member left, and he's a fucking tool.

Yo would you guys be cool with The Beatles headlining? Not sure if they're touring or not, kinda out of the loop.

This. Having been a been a fan of them for years and never having seen them before I was pretty excited to see them a few years ago, but it turned out that there were only 2 original band members (now there's only one) and Billy Corgan is a tool. He still has a great sound, but I feel the band has more than run its course. Now their concerts just serve to feed Billy's ego. No thank you.

^^^THIS. I loved siamese dream (mayonaise and Luna) and a couple other old songs, but they shouldn't even be considered the smashing pumpkins anymore. Especially with the worst former member left. As far as I'm concerned, Corgan is a whiney bitch.

I wasn't up to date on the Smashing Pumpkins status. Thanks for updating me by acting like little fuck heads.

Ok, screw The Smashing Pumpkins. I never owned any of their material, I was just thinking of big name bands that might possibly headline. I didn't know anything about their recent drama and splits. I was thinking along the lines of past artists that have been at Sasquatch that were from that time period. NIN, Janes Addiction, REM, etc. I was thinking out loud. Red Hot Chili Peppers would be a good show. I have never really been a huge fan but I have seen some of their live videos and it looks like a good show.
