I'm just saying that if you really really like Foo Dr. Garbanzohters, consider them one of your favorite bands, you probably have to find a babysitter for your tweens to go to sasquatch

I just had an epiphany...

1990 was 20 YEARS AGO. I must re-evaluate my entire music collection and dispose of every single piece of trash that existed before the glory days of nu-metal. Lord have mercy on my soul if I ever subject my eardrums to that vile, vile, music the "chosen one" calls...Dad rock......

Oh boy, someone who is completely unafraid to sound like a fucking idiot.

We're gonna have a lot of fun, me and you. We gonna go round and round.

Haha.

I listen to and like quite a bit of stuff right now that I won't want to see at a festival in 15 years, if they don't keep making good, cutting-edge, interesting music, or have a crazy live show that you can't get anywhere else.

FF might have a sweet live show, I know Dave Grohl is a blast and has a lot of energy. But to have a great live show you either need a crazy gimmick or a great catalogue of music, and FF has neither. So they're a boring headliner.

I'm not saying you're not going to like it. I'm sure you'll love it, and that's all that matters, right?

I'm too sick right now to even begin to point out all of the ways that you are an idiot. Fortunately I don't have to, this really speaks for itself.

So you listen to shitty, flash-in-the-pan "indie rock" that rates no lower than 5.2 and no higher than 9.3 on Pitchfork. No surprise there.

Have you ever been to a concert? Ever. What's the greatest, most craziest gimmicky show you've ever seen? I really want to know. Please explain to us simpletons how you can speak with such authority.

Say 'dad rock' again, drew. I dare you.
