This sucks - no new WS albums! Ever! Or at least soon. Will Jack White make solo albums? Start a new band? All his best music came from WS. FUCK

I was crushed when I saw the Primavera adds and how great they are then the White Stripes news hit me like a ton of bricks. They were my first band crush and will always be my favorite band ever!

This day is making me more then a little bit depressed. Although it's not like Jack White won't be back with something in the near future. Let us hope it's something interesting, and less Dead Weather.

This is disapointing. Does nobody else want a 3rd racontuers album? Thier my favorite Jack White incarnation. Even though I liked the drumming on a lot of the Dead Weather stuff.

White Stripes>>Raconteurs>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dead Weather.

I actually really liked some (but not all) of the Raconteurs stuff, which I cannot really say about the Dead Weather.

I want to like the Dead Weather, I really do. But I just can't get into them... I know someone suggested that my opinion of them could potentially change if I saw them live - and that's probably true, but I just can't envision a scenario where I'd willing pay money to see them play songs I don't particularly care for. Maybe if they were on a festival lineup, perhaps - but that's about it.

I saw them at block party this summer, it was enjoyable but I wouldn't go out of my way to see them again. Best part of the show was obviously the one song Jack played guitar on

There's like six White Stripes albums and they all sound fucking exactly the same. Why are we all so broken hearted about this?
