The visual aspect of Sufjan's current tour is indispensible. It would lose a lot of its power if he had to play before it was dark, and he would. I don't think he would do it.

God what a show that was. Reminds me why I go to shows at all.

Sounds like why Animal Collective didn't work at Sasquatch '09.

Probably not anything on here that somebody else has mentioned, but I'd love to see any of these bands (that are touring, have an album just out/coming out, or just haven't been at Sasquatch in a while) next year:

Modest Mouse
Sufjan Stevens
Built to Spill
Yeasayer
Local Natives
Panda Bear
British Sea Power
Wavves
Best Coast
Belle & Sebastian
Future of the Left
LCD Soundsystem
Fever Ray
Wolf Parade
The Walkmen
Titus Andronicus
Surfer Blood
Hot Chip
Deerhunter
Billy 'Prince' Bonny
Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti
Wilco
Real Estate
Meat Puppets
Big Business

Has anybody been to an LCD Soundsystem show when its actually dark and not in the middle of the afternoon? As Ive only seen them at Sasquatch I would like to hear peoples thoughts on them when they perform in the dark with their light show.

Sonofabitch. In my defence, I posted that at like four in the morning and I was pretty blitzed.

It would be cool if Will Oldham is there, whatever the fuck he calls himself.

I saw them at Bestival back in September where they closed the Big Top tent at like one in the morning. They had the disco ball out, but honestly their light show wasn't really different from other big bands with light shows. It did provide a better atmosphere than watching them in the afternoon though.

EDIT: After watching some Youtube videos, it looks like they didn't have the same lights that they do for their own shows. Maybe they just don't bring them out for festivals?

WELL Primavera looks to have a pretty solid lineup so far. I'd take Fleet Foxes and Animal Collective (late night set). Please don't bring back the Flaming Lips until they start playing other shit. I've seen them 8 times now and every set has practically been the same.

I saw the Lips right before 'Embryonic' came out and the show was very different, tonally. The new music is very heavy in a live setting, and Wayne has gone from feeding off of the good energy to kind of demanding it.

Their live show has been consistently amazing for like 30 years and it changes when it needs to. I'm down to see the Lips whenever I get the chance, especially if they work more of Embryonic into the set.

Happy birthday guy. Enjoy 21 because the rest of your twenties is going to be worse than puberty.

Also, if you've gone five years in a row you should know by now that if you're drinking shitcreek lager from the concession stand then you're doing it wrong.
