Yes. Supposedly they were offered a large sum of money and they are going to play some shows together. Source: the internetz. Believability: Low.

That reminds me. Add The Libertines to my "band reunion wishlist" for Sasquatch.

Is there any talk of a DFA1979 reunion? Seems MSTRKRFT is still going pretty strong.

Plenty of it on Twitter.

Bands playing Coachella I MUST-HAVE (wish would be) at Sasquatch:

The Black Keys, for god's sake
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, blow me, HG
Cold Cave
Arcade Fire (I've always thought of them as "The Arcade Fire," but apparently they dropped the "the")
The National, every year
DFA1979, duhhhh
Menomena

Wooo.

Yeah yeah, Pitchfork hype, but I enjoy their self-titled album and I enjoyed their set at Capitol Hill Block Party.

I gave up on their set at Block Party.

33.3% due to being too far back.
33.3333% due to the heat.
33.3333333333333333333333333% due to a bad decision to eat mushrooms.

Nice surprises are Odd Future, Lil B, DFA1979 and Shpongle.

Shock at Animal Collective (My FAV band) and Mumford and Sons SUBBING. Most people don't like AC live and M&S have 1 album.

Utter shock at how lame the lineup is as a whole. To bad you can't buy single day tix cuz Sun is money. Friday is a JOKE aside from a couple of bands. Come on Sasquatch, don't follow in their footsteps.

I'm not sure if Pete Doherty is even allowed to enter the country.

Haha probably true. I saw Carl Barat solo a couple years back. Good show but nothing compares to those two together making music.
