I second that motion.

Me too! I saw them opening for The National the other night - they were great! Would be a shame if they broke up.

I saw them a few months ago and while waiting for the encore the crowd started chanting "don't break up!"

That's fuckin awesome. Although, I don't know why they'd break up. they dont even have to talk to eachother. their albums are recorded by e-mail and they communicate through second parties. AND they make incredible music this way. seems kinda break-up proof.

They still have to deal with each other while on tour I guess.

Seems that things are going better now that Joe Haege has joined the band:

Mister Heavenly was awesome by the way. Michael Cera was pretty good on bass too. I ended up meeting him after the show which was awesome.

Also Pepper Rabbit was also amazing.

Passion Pit was pretty good too.

He wasn't very talkative, my friends ended up doing most of the talking. Still it was my first time meeting a celebrity so it was cool.

Yo La Tengo

I have been listening to a bit of their back catalogue (I wasn't knowledgeable enough to get them on the first time around) - and the music appeals to my matured primary auditory complex. I took a look and realized they have never played Sasquatch before. Which is somewhat surprising, considering they have had continuous tenure throughout Sasquatch's existence.

Anybody agree, or have insight into their live performances?

I'd love it if Yo La Tengo played Sasquatch. You're right, it is kind of weird they never have. Maybe Adam Snack's isn't a fan?

'And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out' is a beautiful record. In fact I'm going to put that on right now.

Mm, now I'm listening to 'I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass'. I've had it since it came out and I never realized how great it is. Which is a LOT great.
