lol "touring frenzy"? Tool? Really? They're playing 20 shows this year, and that's after taking 10 months off after their last 16 show tour, which was preceded by another 18 months off. If anything, it'd be A Perfect Circle, who are supposedly recording a new album later this year and *maybe* touring.

Also, half this thread seems to be "OH THESE ARE BANDS I WANT TO SEE AT SASQUATCH" not necessarily likely bands. Like for example, the Arcade Fire, who will surely play another Northwest Show before next May.

funny, thats the opposite of what i've heard which is that a perfect circle is over and that tool is recording right now...

also to add something constructive, they are way too big for sasquatch but if something crazy happens and Adam Zachs really does goes all out for the 10th anniversary:

The Who have officially become a terrible joke version of what once made them great. Nothing separates them from the Stones.

After their ridiculous, post-Waters Floyd scale fiasco of a Super Bowl halftime show, I turned to my wife and said, 'Thank God for Mark David Chapman.'

And heroin, Courtney Love, and drive-by shootings.

Speaking of hip hop, we aren't too many years away from watching old ass rappers who are no longer listenable (no Ice Cube jokes here please).

I'm thinking there is a pretty good chance we see phoenix as a headliner, they are playing MSG this fall (just like MMJ did last winter in breakthrough style) and may still be doing a few shows come next spring (evil urges was released two years ago just like phoenix's last album will have been come next may) next to that I would expect the Arcade Fire and Modest Mouse (sasquatch loves repeats) and interpol would also make sense.

supposedly the Strokes have a record due out in March, they'd be a nice addition as a headliner or sub-headliner.

i don't think so...Soundgarden are apparently getting a million for their performance at Lolla.

Also, as much as I love Phoenix, there's no way they could headline Sasquatch next year. They've got 4 albums worth of material and still rarely go over 15 songs a set. I don't think they've got a two hour performance in them. Not to mention their fanbase is still way too small. People know 1901, but don't know who the band is.

The Bloody Beetroots would be a good addition for a late show, they were last stateside in 2009 when they performed at coachella. Not sure if they will be touring again next year though

The art of the fake edit is not dead. It lives on in interstateeight.

2002. Good times.

Hey, I didn't ask for it! Kings of Leon were way bigger in 2009 than Phoenix is right now though. Phoenix will probably never be as popular as they are now. Kings of Leon's fanbase was already pretty established and they were huge in the UK I believe (one of the NME bands).

KOL are headlining the Gorge tonight. Ask me, ramming them sideways up Sasquatch's ass was just a cash grab; probably LiveNation's idea and not Snacks. I wish I could see the numbers of how much beer they sold last year compared to this year.
