what a fucking mess. a cymbal AND stand...really????
There's that, and the fact that they were downright unlistenable. We were sitting there on the hill during Mars Volta and we said, "Fuck it, let's go win Zunes from the XBox tent."
That video sums up the Mars Volta perfectly. They suck ass.
I was at this show and had to secure a good spot for The Flaming Lips...unfortunately I HAD to endure the bullshit set the 'Volta played. It was the most atrociously bad performance I have EVER seen!!! Please never bring them back.
I would S some serious D to see Calvin Harris on the festival tour next year. He'd be perfect for a late show. Also Hot Chip in the dance tent, and maybe The Cool Kids. I'd also love to see Lissie, Chromeo, Phoenix, Mark Ronson, and both MGMT and Edward Sharpe for a 2nd go-around. Maybe throw in some rebellution or slightly stoopid too? or Animal Collective? & anyone ever heard of Seu Jorge?? I'm already counting down the days til Sasquatch 2011
No. No one has ever heard of Seu Jorge. Please tell us who Seu Jorge is.

Much to his chagrin, he's most notable for playing David Bowie songs and singing them in Portugese on The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. Little do people know, but he has great original songs as well. Unfortunately, live, everybody just yells for David Bowie covers and ignores said great original songs.

May as well shoot for the stars. Headliners; David Bowie, Daft Punk, Radiohead Under cards; Arcade Fire, The Strokes, The Black Keys I know I know, will never happen. I know Bowie would be the hardest to get, but how awesome would that be?

lol "touring frenzy"? Tool? Really? They're playing 20 shows this year, and that's after taking 10 months off after their last 16 show tour, which was preceded by another 18 months off. If anything, it'd be A Perfect Circle, who are supposedly recording a new album later this year and *maybe* touring.
Also, half this thread seems to be "OH THESE ARE BANDS I WANT TO SEE AT SASQUATCH" not necessarily likely bands. Like for example, the Arcade Fire, who will surely play another Northwest Show before next May.

Saying Arcade Fire is unlikely for 2011 is stupider than any of the "OH THESE ARE BANDS I WANT TO SEE AT SASQUATCH" comments made in this thread.
