Plus the only day she's not playing a show is the Sunday between her Portland and San Francisco shows. I would say it's a safe bet she won't be at Sasquatch.

I don't know how much that would apply to Lykke Li. I think that it would be more of the later in the day mainstage bands that are prevented from playing in Seattle during a certain time period. The dates make it more difficult though. She'd obviously have to play Sunday if she were to play.

nah it applies to everyone. Every year local bands complain about the fact that they can't play local shows around Sasquatch time
Hmmm weird. I saw Caribou the two days leading up to Sasquatch in Portland and Seattle. I don't understand why they'd make local bands not play Seattle. I would only really think that headliners and sub headliners would really need to have that rule applied to them as only those bands could take away from Sasquatch attendance by playing a nearby city.

Yeah your right about this, but with that being said it would a kind of dumb move to book a band to play a show in seattle the day before sasquatch from a promoter's standpoint (who's gonna buy the tickets...)...but yeah usually clauses like that only apply to headliners
Saw Ghostland Observatory last night. If they play quatch2011 I will shit my pants. What a fucking party!!
How was it? I nearly drove down and went to that show. The fact that they're making the rounds promoting their new album makes me so very hopeful that they'll be at Sasquatch '11! I want a repeat of the laser-induced dancefest we had back in '08!

I dunno. Not necessarily. I guess it depends on the band, but I would imagine there would also be a crowd that wants to see that specific band that doesn't want to make the 3-hour drive from Seattle and pay for a whole day. You do have a point, though.

It was such a fun show! First time I've seen them. I was pretty fucked up so that could have had something to do with it also haha

best coast and wavves aren't stopping in seattle despite stopping in Vancouver, Victoria, and Portland...did one of them play seattle recently, it seems kind of strange. Also what about The Strokes, they announced today the new album is done and needs to be mixed, there could be a big tour in the works for this summer.

Death Cab is going to be opening for Foo Dr. Garbanzohters in the UK in July. Since they're usually already rumored to be at Sasquatch, does this help their chances?
Also with Foo Dr. Garbanzohters in the UK in July: Billy Clyro, Tame Impala, Jimmy Eat World, and Hot Rats. Should Foo Dr. Garbanzohters expand their tour, it would make sense that one or more of these bands also plays the NEW Friday event.

Try again, but next time with thoughts less wrong.
