For the love of Chester, in that 18 wheeler in the sky from last year, do not waste that much money for Kanye.

I don't understand how this d-bag is allowed to appear at another fest after the diva stunt he pulled at Bonnaroo. Forgive me if that has already been stated. I just felt like it should be reiterated.

Although, Drew--that video is pretty sweet. I hate to love/love to hate Kanye.

Friendly--I heard from other 'Roos that he didn't show up on stage until close to 3 or 4 when his original set was at like, 10 along with Jack Johnson or something.

Didn't that bother you that he took his pretty time, or did you see him elsewhere?

His set got moved back to 3am, this info was posted on the website two days before Bonnaroo. He was an hour late to get on, but Pearl Jam also played an hour later so if you were expecting things to run on time, your fault. Also the main satge has a 90 000 capacity, go see some Sigur Ros, some Lupe, some Chromeo, or some mother fuckin' Phil Lesh then check in with Kanye, at 3:30am you will be really close!

The loudest voices are coming from those that started waiting at 2am and had to miss all the other bands. Apparently they could not Dr. Garbanzoure out that after a whole day of music and a 3+ hours Pearl Jam set, not every single person at Bonnaroo was gonna be there! You were pretty much able to waltz to the front at your leisure by the time Kanye took the stage.

Fair 'nuff

I can't speak for much since I wasn't there, but buddies of mine weren't too happy. I had other friends who just gave up and walked back to the campsite while some waited around. I agree with you though, that there was probably plenty of time to see other acts.

When I was at Lolla last year, it was impossible to see a full set of anybody's because of overlapping performances and Bonnaroo doesn't see too many conflicts since the shows go much later into the night, so I wouldn't have had a problem catching a few minutes of Sigur Ros or someone else before messing with Kanye.

I still think he banks off of his royal doucheness, though.

I love how much hate Kanye gets from one fucking show. Friendly already explained what happened (pearl Jam went an hour longer than expected and Kanye needed time to get his show set up). Was it a diva move? probably, but I saw that tour and it was awesome so I understand why he wanted everything set up right. If he's headlining none of this matters because he'll be able to set up his show well beforehand and will be ready to go

batson, its not just one show that he's getting hate from. Everyone knows he acts like a diva much like Lady GaGa acts bat shit crazy for attention. Its the performer's schtick to gather a following. It isn't because of his interrupting Taylor Swift or because he majorly postponed a show that makes him a diva or a douche. That's just his celebrity identity.

I will never dispute that he is a bad performer. I've seen performances online that are pretty awesome, so I can imagine he's even more incredible to see live. As I've mentioned, I hate to love/love to hate him because he is a truly talented artist. I just don't care much for his exaggerated attitude.
