apparently being at the very front for LCD makes you unable to fully appreciate the "dance movements" the entire crowd did for "All My Friends", but now that I've seen the video, I have to admit, that was pretty crazy.

It was quite impressive, I showed my friend and the first thing he said was " thats a whole lot of white people"

Also, if you want a good laugh look up "Kid breaks his face to lcd soundsystem" on youtube.

The part where he actually falls over the fence is hilarious, then all that comes after is just kinda sad.

True, but the girl in the backpacks reaction is entertaining enough.

Yeah, and then the crowd left as quickly as possibly before Pavement took the stage. That almost made it worth it.

Alright, we get it, you don't like Pavement. Fair enough, but must you constantly whine?

Dude I'll bet 16,000 people were REALLY wishing they were still watching LCD during Malkmus' fucking breakdown that day. Add the fact that we may never see another set from LCD, ever, and the fact that Pavement wouldn't have had the sub-headlining slot if Malkmus weren't a self-glorifying prick (with apparently no respect for his fans or his own material)... You know what, I'm a little bent out of shape about it, so fuck you I'll whine if I want.

There's been plenty of shit-talking about Ween and they are fucking kings, nobody gets all uppity trying to defend them. Stop being a dick.

i love the last sentence , it's like you're 6 or work for fox or both,
just making up bullshit to try and justify your dickery.there hasn't been a bad word on here about Ween ( with good reason , they were awesome )

it's pretty simple if you like Pavement that a was great fuckin set .there are plenty of bands that i just don't like ,so what i do is not go see them

JESUS CHRIST. WHATEVER. God and I thought I hated Pavement fans before. Say goodbye to whatever cool points you've been claiming to have as a result of being a Pavement fan from their hey-day because they'll be worth exactly their weight in dog shit once Malkmus is done wiping his ass with the paycheck from this tour.

They're a bunch of unemployed middle aged dudes with badly chuned instruments kind of playing songs and sometimes not. You read too much Pitchfork, dude, there's just no defending that shit and calling me a six-year-old isn't going to change it.

Also I don't get attacking me personally, this is a fucking message board -- I'm entitled to my opinion, and I'm entitled to state it as loudly and with as many Fuck Steve Malkmuses as I want. And you are more than welcome to disagree with me, but talking shit about ME makes you sound like a person whose favorite band shit their pants in front of a piss-poor, uninterested crowd and your only recourse is to bag on people who weren't too stoned to notice. Grow up, dude.

Funny thing is, I like this post. This guy just states "Pavement sucks" and that's that. (Assuming he/she doesn't have to annoyingly remind us he/she doesn't like Pavement again and again.)

And hornedgramma, I realize this isn't quite original, but... [image]

I have asperger's. This is what I do for fun, and also to avoid alienating people I actually care about.

Every time I see that word, spelled in such a way, I always end up thinking of LCD too.

Pavement are amateurs! Ween hardly even knows how to cook! LCD can't read! Tool is my cousin's best man at their wedding! Coheed and Cambria's apartment smells like food! James Murphy is actually two small people made into one with a bird for a head! Malkmus can't do long division! Manyard still hunts and pecks! Word.
