I was fully wanting to stay for the entirety of Beck's set since I knew I'd miss something awesome at the end (I did), but my friends were nearly literally falling asleep after the Sea Change songs and they decided they wanted to bone out after Paper Tiger.

I seriously regret missing St. Vincent to try to get closer for Jack White, and then leaving a few songs into The Roots' set because my friends had no interest in them.

I swear 10% of your posts are about how you missed nearly every cool band at Sasquatch because your friends don't like them, or you had to take a shower. It was the same last year. Next time your friends want to leave a show, think to yourself, "wonk told me to grow a pair."

You're welcome. Here's to the new you.

Also I stayed until the very end of St. Vincent and had a rad spot for Jack White. I was even maybe five minutes late, but it took about ten minutes for Jack White to really get in gear and the last ten minutes of St. Vincent's set were basically the greatest thing that happened all weekend.

My only friend-induced regret of the weekend was missing Of Monsters and Men for Polica. They were fucking terrible and even HG liked the Monster band, so they MUST have put on a good show.

Yeah I was totally surprised by Of Monsters and Men. I was sitting there and all of a sudden I was like, I don't hate this.

Man, I just downloaded some Purity Ring tracks and I've got to say I'm equally sad for missing their set as I am thrilled to hear their debut album.

I'm a fucking idiot. I just realized that I've totally seen them before, and I even told somebody about it at Sasquatch.

Both Purity Ring and Com Truise were pretty big surprises for me. I really loved the little light balls which corresponded to the drum pad for Purity Ring.

Funny you say that, because Com Truise played that same show with Purity Ring, with Neon Indian headlining. All around awesome show! Those glowing balls were indeed pretty cool.

Yeah I wanted to see that tour when they hit Boise but it was at one of the worst venues in town and I wasn't about to give them my patronage. The Reef managed to ruin a STRFCKR show and I haven't gone there since. Also; 18+ shows :cripes:

18+ makes no fucking sense to me. Either make it all ages, or (preferably) 21+.

They're SO nice, and rarely sell out, so you aren't packed in like sardines with a bunch of sweaty kids trying to rush the front row. Don't you guys have 19+ shows? I swear I've been to a few in Vancouver.
