Shouldn't it be the other way around? Just my opinion...

It's a fair opinion... But it's Massive Attack! They've both been around just as long, but Massive Attack 1.) has never really "broken up" before, 2.) There music has proven to be more relate-able throughout the years, 3.) THEY'RE MASSIVE!!!

We knew this. I agree, but hey, this way I can see the end of Public Enemy's set.

Oh goodness, let's not open this can of worms again. Didn't this exact thread happen once a few months ago?

Pavement opened for Gorillaz at Coachella this year, so don't be surprised.

Has anyone considered that Pavement is probably better suited for the sunset set anyway? I can't imagine seeing Massive Attack with the sun still up, or at all.

Ya, I'm sure that the light show aspect of Massive Attack's show is a major reason for this...

you really made an account for this? why would you come join the boards to ask a dumb question. you couldn't just search for this really dumb topic?
pavement is not a headliner because their audience isn't nearly the size of massive attack. nor do they have that arena light show.

And by the way, Pavement is/will be a headliner in terms of set length (75 minutes).

im pretty sure massive attack has the same set length. and of course massive attack is closing the main stage. they're huge. for about 20 years now. probably the biggest act in the entire lineup. anyone who expected it to be the other way around just didn't understand how big massive attack really is.

Yeah, Pavement's a headliner in terms of the festival. If you noticed on all the posters they were listed before Ween. They are the Nine Inch Nails of this year.
And, I personally like Pavement playing before Massive Attack better being a Pavement fan. Can't beat a Pavement set during a sunset at the Gorge.

Uhm one's "Massive," and one you walk on, I think that sums it up nicely.
