Ween is going to be the best set of the weekend, and they're the best closer Squatch has ever had. Ten times more awesome than the Lips and their U.F.O, which was a great way to shut things down. But this is motherfucking WEEN.

I honestly believe that Alex is a DJ of the finest kind and is aware that he is not playing LA/Vegas (where I've seen him live before) and is preparing his exclusive Sasquatch set as we speak.

Simian was good fun. Generic beats, but still a sweaty good time. Boys Noize was much better.
Not trying to start a flame war or anything, but I really don't get the Ween hype at all. I'd take Boys Noize to close the festival 10 times out of 10 over Ween.

I am not choosing either side of this war, but I attended Ween's set solely for the reason that live bands are usually more my cup of tea than DJ's. I found Ween's set to be rather fantastic. Their songs are weird, which makes them rather interesting. And wow, all of them are fantastic musicians, very versatile, able to make any genre they touch their own. For this reason, I was willing to stay through the arctic chill winds up until the end of their set. I was pretty sold. Wish I got to see Boys Noize, but the nature of festival conflicts would not let me.

I was a fan of his music before but after seeing him live i just cant stop listening to slash thinking about it. does anyone have any pictures or videos of the amazingness? also does anyone know where i could get a Boys Noize tshirt in Canada? I was really upset when they didnt have any there

Lumpy you made a wise choice, you will never see a show like that from anyother band.

boys noize was really fun and the only time the dance tent crowd didn't invoke suicidal thoughts for me.

haha. i'd be really interested to hear your explanation as to why that was (and what invoked suicidal thoughts from the other sets)
