Flaming Lips are cool, but the lead singers voice sounds horrible live, and he rants about politics for 10 mins between every song.
Cut Copy on the other hand have great voices, and facilitate a nonstop dance party (no pretentious banter in between songs)
You should check them out if you are unfamiliar, and if you'd like to start a petition for those bands to be added, peep this

Yeah man, at the Bonnaroo 07 show he would not stop flaunting his political views in between songs- kind of the last thing I wanted to be hearing about at 1:00 am in a field in TN (i.e. when I am trying to spend a weekend away from the real world). But don't get me wrong, I'd definitely stop by their set if they played the Gorge.

If I thought there was any chance of an add happening based off of this mb I would definitely start a few petition threads. But since it doesn't work like that I see no reason to clutter the board with various 'add x band' threads when I could simply post the adds I'd like to see here or the in the wish list thread
