New discoveries since line-up came out
« Thread Started on Feb 17, 2010, 4:20pm »

I know that it has only been a couple days since the line-up came out but I instantly connected to a couple bands already.

Definitely digging Phantogram and what I have heard of Hudson Mohawk.

I'm about to go on a 3 month Sasquatch band induced stupor, basically listening to only Sasquatch bands.

What bands have you started getting into since the line-up has been posted?

Make sure you check out Up in Flames by Caribou. Great album. Also his dvd - Marino is awesome. Its his music put to some crazy animation. Caribou is one the acts I'm most excited for. I've seen him 3 times and each show was unbelievably energetic. Drums on top of drums on top of drums. Super excited that he is playing the main stage.

I'm just starting my 3 month Sasquatch only listenening experience. Trying to get into some of the older stuff that I never really listened to when I was younger (Ween, Massive Attack, Nada Surf). I've got a pretty good grasp on all the Canadian acts. Hoping to get into some of the dance tent acts this year too, from what I hear they are all pretty established.

I'm holding off on taking advantage of the ol' Sasquatch Record Club until the times come out; like, I don't want to start listening to The XX, get psyched, and then find out they're playing against LCD Soundsystem...

That makes me ecstatic. I've been a MG fan for years now and I got really into TTMOE when his first album came out. Glad others are digging their stuff!
