Here are the bands that I WANT to see at Coachella that are NOT playing Sasquatch: Jay-Z, The Avett Brothers, Yeasayer, Thom Yorke, Spoon, SDRE.
That's not enough to put it over the top for me.
I realize that everyone is jealous of Coachella because they got Gorillaz, but I don't like Gorillaz. Thom Yorke is pretty cool, that's for sure. But the biggest name on their poster for ME was Pavement. And Saquatch has Pavement. And The Mountain Goats. And Band of Horses! And The National! And Broken Social Scene... fuck, I'm excited all over again.
Of course he is. No one in their right mind would type that.
Ok so Coachella's lineup is pretty freaking good. Sasquatch is at least close to on par and I'd rather be at the Gorge and deal with 1/5 (or less) the people. What does Coachella usually hold? 100,000? 200,000?

In my opinion...
As far as bands I want to see that Sasquatch doesn't have Coachella's got Gorillaz, Grizzly Bear, Thom York, Yeasayer, Deer Tick, the Dead Weather, Gossip, Les Claypool, Mew, Porcupine Tree, Them Crooked Vultures, Phoenix, Spoon, Sly Stone, Julian Casablancas, Yo La Tengo, Deerhunter, Matt & Kim, and King Khan and the Shrines...
Definitely not bad but still not worth dealing with the ridiculous amount of people and the far less beautiful venue, especially considering the incredible lineup we have at the Gorge.

There must not be a lot of Electronic fans here.. While I'm happy there's some artists there (and from what it looks like more than usual) but I would have liked to see more. You guys are in for a treat with people like Simian Mobile Disco, and Booka Shade. That said, I would have loved to see Trentemoller over Booka Shade, and some acts like Longwalkshortdock (Vancouver), Juno Reactor, or any kind of Live PA acts.
I'm not a fan of indie music at all so there's a lot of bands I will be avoiding but at the same time after doing some research on the acts performing I have found ones I do like and will see. Ones that are original sounding, and the hip hop acts all look decent too.

After seeing the Coachella line up first come out I thought there was no chance that Sasquatch would even come close. As far as the headliners go, I suppose it hasn't but that was to be expected. Thom Yorke would have been incredible but I never really thought that a possibility. But besides that, we have a fucking amazing line up! Just like I8's post, every time I start listing the bands off in my head I get fucking pumped. As for crossovers we didn't get, I'm most upset about missing out on Yo La Tengo and Deerhunter.

Worst Sasquatch lineup ever. I'm excited to see MMJ, She and Him, Public Enemy, New Pornographers and Broken Social Scene. I'm not interested in a single band playing on Saturday and historically, that has always been my favorite day at sasquatch. Get the Red Hot Chili Peppers (hell they headlined the always terrible endfest a couple years ago, so don't pretend that is impossible). Good god, it took me days to get over how bad the lineup is. A large group of us had planned on going this year and now everybody bailed after this travesty.

I'm sorry, but didn't you just say you were selling your tickets?

No one has mentioned but Jonsi is playing Coachella, just for arguments sake of who has the stronger lineup.
With that being said I do think Coachella has the stronger lineup BUT Coachella does 60,000 people a day as opposed to Sasquatch's 22,000, which to me matters a lot. Coachella also costs as extra 30-40 bucks, not big of a deal when you think of how much you spend in general on a festival (food, drink, travel) but it all adds up. If I had it my way I'd go to both but being that I'll be in the UK in April thats not going to happen, so I'll stick with Sasquatch and be happy about it.

For me if cost wasn't an issue, Coachella has the better line-up. Jay-Z, Gorillaz, Them Crooked Vultures, Faith No More, PiL, Spoon, Phoenix is alot of fire power. But the tickets are $90 more, not to mention I would probably have to fly there too. When you are paying for two people, it adds up quick.
Sasquatch came through with a very solid line-up. Not earth shattering but definitely solid with the makings of a great line-up. When you factor in the cost, the scenery, the people, its probably the best bang for your buck camping festival and there isn't 90,000 people like Roo. And I think the crowd at Sasquatch is almost as awesome as the scenery.
