glad to be of service. Just as a footnote to that, I almost peed my pants when I saw the lineup and I bought a ticket immediately. I've also been known to play beer darts and do keg stands.
I am extremely dissappointed with the line-up this year!!! There are no real headliners. pavement and mmj should at most be the bands that play right before the REAL headliners, maybe even headline the yeti stage. This line-up is the worst ive seen since 2007 when they cut the festival to only 2 days! There are a few bands that kinda want to see but absolutely none that are worth the money for the tickets and camping and the rediculously high prices that they charge for basicaly anything you might buy in the show! i had super high hopes for this year after all the hyping they've been doing for it and i was compltely let down by what they actualy came through with.
So your job is to shit-talk Modest Mouse and Pixies but hype Ween? Get the fuck out.
Yeah, perhaps you didn't seem to notice the thread title. I'm not going anywhere, Nick.
The thread is about hating on the lineup, not hating on one of the best god damn bands to ever enter a recording studio. Show some love for Pixies; they wrote Monkey Gone to Heaven.
i think the line-up is overall pretty good. yea, the headliners arent that great but there are alot of great smaller bands.
one complaint: public enemy. WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!
Have you listened to Public Enemy? That's not a sarcastic question; I'm just curious if you hate them for their music or because Flavor Flav is involved.

it looks like Lollapalooza is getting Arcade Fire, Soundgarden, AND the Strokes. i wonder if Soundgarden was hopelessly out of the price range for sasquatch or something, because these are actual headliners that i'd consider traveling across the country to see. much better top of the lineup at Lolla, but that's just like, my opinion, man.

This thread is no longer for bitching and is now about The Big Lebowski.
