This will be my first time going to this style of festival, and leaving my own province (BC) for. I really like the line up! I wish Chromeo was coming back again, I love them.. But guys, seriously, DON'T MISS SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO! Banging electro/techno.. so good! I just hope they have their awesome light show that goes along with it. They would definitely have to play at night time for this to work.
Also stoked to see Booka Shade, Massive Attack! Kid Cudi, Z-Trip and A-Trak!! YES!! I'm a DJ, and I love both of them. I just hope A-Trak plays some Electronic music like the stuff he's been producing lately and not a hip hop act.
I hope they add more dance/electronic acts, but I'm pretty satisfied with what is there either way!

They probably will play at night, but even if they dont they will be inside the Rumpus Room which is a very large tent, acts had led lighting setups last year and they still looked good inside the tent during the day
If [The Black Keys] are there, they will be headlining.

Just thought of a possible great moment (that really depends on when's Pavement next date is after Sasquatch), Stephen Malkmus joining Quasi for a Jicks song or something of that sort.

mykee - SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO will be playing in the dance tent. If you click on the bands name on the right side of the page it will take you to a profile of them. At the bottom of the profile it says what stage they are playing at. Here is the link that shows there stage.

The lineup is sick, but I definitely think we will see more dj's added. Especially after looking at the stage schedule. Oh and I find it a bit odd that Deadmau5 is playing Wookie Stage. It'll be rad nonetheless.

I was way pissed that Girl Talk was playing (a) outdoors (b) before sunset last year. It's definitely a bizarre choice. Whatever, I went anyway and drunkenly danced like a fool. Fun times.

For me this is the best modern music line up I've seen in a while. And considering the setting and size, I'd pick this over any cochella (though daft punk would be nice). I think the headliners are brilliant and really tie the whole schedule together. In the past I've felt the headliners were still big (NIN, Beasities...) but they are more so bands that everyone knows (many great songs form radio, movies, tv) All three of these headliners have gained a mass following primarily based off of their live shows, which is a totally different experience and sometimes sound from their albums. I find many indie bands struggle with bringing that "special" presence to their live show that is not simply a repeat of their cd on stage or they rely on shenanigans, which is fun, but not the same. Usually I do Bonnaroo (as I like to have a little more variation with blues, bluegrass, jam, and world) but these are prob some of my favorite modern heavyweights, plus let's see what Pavement has to give us, even if they bombed it will still be like chilling out to the world's loudest ghetto blaster only instead of being in my house from 1995 I will have a better view.

Thanks for posting that, because I thought Deadmau5 would be in the dance tent. Saturday is going to be a clusterfuck at the end of the evening. I really don't want a Z-trip/MMJ conflict, but it looks like it might happen.
