Now that the threads have been refreshed, I guess you have an excuse for bringing up the Japandroids.
They're playing Primavera that weekend. It is possible, but not likely, that they will appear at Sasquatch.

This would mean that they're going to come to the United States from Europe in April, maybe fly back or just cold chill for two months doing nothing, and then do Bonnaroo and leave for the next show in Germany in late June. |

That would be fun, their show last month was fucking great.

He's releasing a pretty hyped new album the month prior and he's gearing up for festival season to promote. He's on the Coachella lineup and I'd expect to see him at Lollapalooza too. Deadmau5 did the same thing last year. |

I was thinking this also, he played the decibal fest in 08, and was awesome! I can see him before a headliner!

Japandroids are going to be there. They referenced Sasquatch at their last Seattle show and are playing the 28th for Primavera and skip Seattle on their current tour. Done deal.
My guess as of now for rumors from other fests that we'll poach: LCD/ The Dead Weather/ MGMT/ Phoenix/ Vampire Weekend/ The National/ Passion Pit/ Dirty Projectors/ Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros/ Local Natives/ Dr. Dog/ Japandroids/ Wale/ Girls/ Miike Snow/ Flying Lotus/ The Temper Trap
That would be sooooooooooooooo kick ass if we get all those bands. I'm thinking Sasquatch learned their lesson last year by having a very strong undercard and lack luster headliners.
Here's also hoping Joanna Newsom makes the trek because her new songs are amazing.

Bassnectar has been predicted a TON. He's had two seattle shows in the past 6 months sell out (sodo & market) as well as would be a nice fit... It seems as if he would be too big for the dance tent... But ehh its possible
& I'd love love love to see thievery corp this year.

Uhhh people procrastinate & I didn't get complaints last year.
BTW - Pretty Lights was the other confirmation if you look at tour dates on his website ... But now it doesn't say sasquatch... Yet it did for a couple days. So I'm not aware how 'confirmed' it is now.

Dude you should have told us that a month ago when you promised. At least you finally gave it up.
It seems like they would fit right into the dance tent. I saw them a few months ago and they were pretty good, but kinda felt like a watered down version of STS9.

I think Joanna Newsom is a very safe bet. She's taking care of the east coast over the course of March and April, has a TRIPLE ALBUM (THREE CDS! HOW DO YOU DO THAT) out, and played at Sasquatch!es past.

MGMT is very likley to play, this does sound dumb; but i have heard from a very reliable source, that they were almost confirmed to play
