I was positive that Morrissey was going to be a headliner this year.

I would be happy with any and all of these. Obviously its unreasonable to hope for even half showing up, as I realize it's about as top-heavy as a portobello mushroom. I know there are a few return acts, but most have not performed before.
Headliners:
Pearl Jam Daft punk Arcade Fire Phish Phoenix Spoon Leonard Cohen Wilco
Everyone else:
Thermals Cake The Hold Steady LCD Soundsystem Destroyer MGMT Sufjan Stevens Caribou Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah These United States Dinosaur Jr. Ween The Knife tallest man on earth Sleigh Bells The Cave Singers Rural Alberta Advantge Pedro the Lion Belle And Sebastian Handsome Furs Tea Leaf Green Ray LaMontagne Dirty Projectors Ted Leo Kurt Vile Shout Out Louds Joe Pug
I imagine I am missing a bunch, so I may do another one closer to the release date.

Might as well nerd out and throw my two cents in. I realize that many of these aren't likely, but in a perfect world, I'd like to see...
Headliners:
Pavement (check!) Pixies Wilco Flaming Lips Radiohead
Non-headliners:
Andrew Bird Yo La Tengo Midlake White Denim The Breeders Starfucker Broken Social Scene any Wu-Tang Avett Brothers Cut Copy St. Vincent Edward Sharpe The Black Keys Phoenix Noisettes Why? MGMT The Roots Ween Sun Kil Moon Foreign Born Memory Tapes Grizzly Bear Hudson Mohawke Camp Lo MGMT Oh No Delta Spirit Toro Y Moi Friendly Fires Dam-Funk Bear In Heaven Hot Chip
...yep, that's be pretty cool.

Yes, I think '04? '05?
Either way, I feel totally comfortable in speaking for everyone when I say that their return would be more than welcome.

Count me as one who would high five everyone available if this happens, you know, bro style, but it won't happen.
Wilco is playing every major city in the NW in February, which leads me to believe they won't play again in the NW three months later. They are also playing Primavera the same weekend, so traveling halfway across the world to play for fans you just played for is not going to happen. I hope I am wrong, but I like Wilco for Sasquatch 0-11.

Would love to see Manchester Orchestra, Cloud Cult, and especially The Weakerthans. Don't know how Brand New would do, but I do remember reading about Jesse Lacey abusing the audience at a festival for seeing his band instead of Explosions in the Sky.
My problem with Brand New is that while they have changed and moved on as a band, their fans seem to stay the same.

I actually wasn't impressed with Brand New the one time I saw them live, but I would like to see some of the stuff off of "Daisy" live. I love that they keep putting out new material that actually sounds and feels new.
I have heard that Cloud Cult is done touring, but it may just be a rumor.

I've seen brand new a couple times live and I think they are defintiely getting weaker on every tour. The first time I saw them was right after Devil and God came out and they played a 2 hour set spanning their whole discography (including every song but one from deja entendu). That set was incredible. The second time I saw them they only played half as many songs and seemed really bored (but probably just really stoned) and it was pretty lame. I know they can put on a killer set at sasquatch I just don't know if they would..

can i get a hells yea for dr. dog? looks like their holding of on going to the northwest until around may... (cross your fingers) also built to spill is a possibility because of the new album... i've seen bts over 10 times now. doug martsch keeps getting older, fatter, and balder, but his voice is still invincible.

I'd also like to see Freelance Whales. They're a new Frenchkiss band that I've really been digging. They seem like they'd be fun to see live.
