 Top 5
« Thread Started on May 14, 2009, 12:28am »

I know this thread has been posted before , but this board is dead and if you're like me , you've changed your mind on what bands you really want to see.

1. Fleet Foxes
2. Kings of Leon ( They may be Nickelback for people who loathe Nickelback ,but I still like em )
3. Gogol Bordello ( I'm expecting them to be absolutely insane live , hopefully they are cause I'm skipping Blitzen Trapper for them )
4. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs ( Does anyone know if Karen O has a boyfriend , cause I think I have a shot )
5. Deadmau5 ( I'm gonna get my rave on like it was 1999)

Feel free to ridicule or criticize my choices , at least there will be some sort of discussion here.

So hard to pick only five as I have stumbled upon a few new bands since the lineup dropped but...

1 & 2 (can't decide) Gogol Bordello and Explosions in the Sky
3. TV on the Radio
4. Nine Inch Nails
5. Animal Collective

Close calls are Fleet Foxes, Street Sweeper, and Dent May

Tough call, but I'll say:

1. The Wrens
2. Bon Iver
3. Sun Kil Moon
4. Grizzly Bear
5. Explosions in the Sky

... And I'd probably have included Animal Collective, but I think I'll have to skip their set to see SKM.
