 Rumors
« Thread Started on Mar 17, 2009, 6:22pm »

Thought we could use a good page for people to talk about possibilities that have some kind of merit. In example I'd like bob Dylan to be at Sasquatch but i know that has no chance of happening.

Also does anyone else hope for one more decent headliner? remember last year the flaming lips were billed as a special guest forever before they were confirmed.

February 25th was the day the Lips were official. I don't mean to be confrontational I am just confused at what you are talking about

Is it me- or are these boards a lot slower than last year?

Ah i remember now that alot of the bands had been released around the 11th except the flaming lips although nothing was official until the 25th. also the comedy tent announcements took awhile last year. And yes the boards are slower but also much more accurate so i'll take that over lots of fun totally false rumors.

My first rumor slash/hope will be their band-The lonely H. Sasquatch fits their schedule and they would be a great yeti add they're an excellent band.

I would bet Street Sweeper is a pretty good bet for an add since they are opening for NIN/JA on their tour

I think the street sweeper rumor is valid but its tough to fit them in the schedule as it sits right now. Lots of people on the main stage.

Yeah, it's a tough call, potentially one more band could fit on the main stage to match up to previous years but if NIN and JA are co-headling and each getting a headliners share of time it might be a stretch

Some hopeful adds more than rumors......The Dead Weather/ The White Stripes, K'Naan, Gnarls Barkley, White Denim and Neil Young to replace Ben Harper as headliner!

Deerhoof and Cornelius would be nice. Gnarls would be great. I think the Strokes and Interpol are working on new stuff. They would be pretty big adds. My dream addition would be a Pavement reunion but that's probably not going to happen. If they ever get back together it will probably be Coachella throwing big money at them.

I like the idea of Mogwai. Mogwai + Explosions in the Sky = Long Lasting Post-Rock Pleasure

I think the Dirty Projectors are a shoe-in for Sunday considering they have a gap on the 24th between Portland and Vancouver with no other date in or around Seattle.
