This is from a recent LA Monotonix show. That's me in the bottom left corner of the picture. It was really a mind-blowingly fun and energetic show.

I just wanted to confirm for the board how great they are live.

That shit looks crazy. I will definitely be checking them out.

As for undercards, I been listening to the Japanadroids and School of Seven bells recently and will be checking them out.

Ra Ra Riot puts on a great live show. Beach House had one of my favorite albums last year... Of course Fleet Foxes, Animal Collective, Of montreal. Grizzly bear is great, Passion Pit great.

I have listened to virtually every Sasquatch band, and I must say, I can't stand Owl City, it is terrible. I don't like BLK JKS, or Death Vessel either. I am now a fan of Dent May and that Uk, as well as Dodos, King Khan, and Devotchka.

PS, please don't respond to spam, it only encourages it.

PSS, can the mods lock the douche bag spam threads?

I've been listening to a lot of the Avett Brothers lately. Some really, really good stuff. I hope they play some of their stuff from previous albums(especially the songs "SSS" and "Swept Away". Two beautiful songs)

The more I look into bands on this line-up the happier I get. Ra Ra Riot is good stuff. I did not know the Submarines were the "Iphone song" band, so I am checking them out now. I definitely have been enjoying some Mt. Saint Helens Vietnam band lately too. My schedule continues to evolve and I don't think that I am going to make it over to the comedy tent because there are too many good bands.

Funny, Ra Ra Riots were mentioned a couple times. I had to google this band to confirm that the lead singer is not indeed the same lead singer for Vampire Weekend. I don't like either band. I especially don't like them because of their great names. I expect doom metal out of Vampire Weekend, and electronic/dance out of Ra Ra Riot.

Three Yeti bands I like on album, and wouldn't mind seeing live.

Dutchess & the Duke: I really like their style, their songs are lyrically interesting, and the name is so fitting. When I listen to them, I feel the "she's the dutchess, he's the duke" in a similar way to "he's the DJ, I'm the rapper." Really bad spot in the lineup though, sandwiched between the Gogol/Blitzen conflict, and the Fleet Foxes/Monotonix conflict.

Loch Lomond: Really soothing music. Unfortunately, again, not many will be there that early unless they are there to see the Heartless Bastards.

Builders and Butchers: Their sound is not for everyone. It can come off as annoying, but to me, it is catchy and unique. But why opposite the Avett Brothers?
