I compiled the schedule in the first post based on information from the main Sasquatch page, which preliminarily states which stage each band will play, and has them listed in order of highest billed. In the past, Sasquatch has mostly stuck to the formula of higher billed acts playing later in the day. If the festival was this weekend, this lineup would be pretty accurate, there will obviously be some changes in stages, plus a couple adds may poop some down a slot. The time slots were copied from last years schedule. There is zero personal opinion in the lineup above.

As for the real lineup, it should come out early May.

Depending on how long it takes a band to set up, the breaks are mostly under 30 minutes, sometimes closer to 15.

Thanks for the response. Its good that there are quick set changes. It should be that way since everything can be set up before 12.

Sorry if this has been posted, but they updated the schedule page separating out the Dance and Comedy tents.

http://sasquatchfestival09.sched.org/all

It looks like there will be a dance add for Saturday as James Pants is the only act booked for the dance tent that day, and the other two days show two dance tent acts per day.

Maybe Cornelius or Caribou. Caribou would be great. Spank Rock would be nice but they are probably too big for that. Some turntabilism would work like Yoda/Z-trip/Q-bert or even DJP. Maybe they are holding out for someone big to help sell Saturday as Kings of Leon seem to be the weakest headliner (in terms of overall popularity, imo). Any other ideas?

Caribou isn't dance music, or electronic music, unless there is more than one act named Caribou. I am surprised Caribou, the Canadian jam band with two drummers, hasn't played Sasquatch yet. Sasquatch seems to be a big draw for Canadians.

I don't know electronic music too much, so I can't speculate as to who they might add. I don't think it would have to be a huge draw either though, since some might just avoid Kings of Leon.

We are talking about the same Caribou. I guess they fit into my loose interpretation of "electronic" music as they are heavy on synthesizers and low on vocals. I was just watching their dvd last weekend, so they were stuck in my mind. On a semi-related note, I would highly recommend their dvd Marino for anyone that enjoys Caribou. But whether they would be added to the dance tent or a regular stage they would be a good addition.

Less speculative discussion with no grounding in reality, more hilarious name-calling!

Peter Bjorn & John is missing from the Sasquatch main page. I removed them from the lineup Sunday, and pooped up the bands below on the main stage (on the first post of this thread).

I updated the first post to reflect Murder City Devils playing Sunday (a great add), and Devotchka back on Saturday. With Devotchka added to the main stage early, and being billed fifth on the main stage, this opens the realistic possibility of Animal Collective being moved from the main stage to the headliner slot on Wookie. They would make more sense closing out than Bon Iver.

I don't see why Owl City isn't in the dance tent. Hah that is going to be really crumby on a stage.

AA Bondy was moved from the Sunday's earliest Wookie slot to Saturday on the Yetti, billed third, which moved three bands on the Yeti down a spot. AA Bondy was basically switched with Hockey, who was the lowest billed Yeti act on Saturday, and is now the lowest billed Wookie act Sunday.

This schedule, that isn't the actual schedule. How did you come up with this? Are these am or pm times? Based on anyone who went last year, when do the performances usually start?

Knowidyuh, adding Mos Def to close out the Wookie stage fills out your wookie line-up for Saturday by pushing everyone else down a spot. I think that your predicted line-up seems pretty spot on considering all the information that we have.
