No joke. They disappeared for nearly a decade, then Scott Pilgrim came out and suddenly there was a new album and it was beautiful and excellent and then they were on the Sasquatch lineup. Top five most anticipated sets of the weekend for me. If they play 'Banjo Press Conference' I will probably fall to my knees and raise my arms to the sky and scream my thanks to the heavens.

It was used to pretty good effect in Scott Pilgrim, but I felt like it was kind of taken away from me in that moment. Once We Were Trees is a special record for me, and their cover of 'By Your Side' has huge significance for me. I didn't like it being offered up for mass consumption like that.

They played the sub pop 20th anniversary festival a few years back and put on a perfectly fine set.cant say that I knew any f their songs back then but I enjoyed them well enough. Have they not been playing shows since they out out that record last year?
