When I intake music it usually consists of a heavy dose of multiple album offerings. Behold the magic of Zune(such an under rated service). I've got 9 hours of music to play every day that I work so I intake a lot. The board has been a great source for finding new music which I graciously share with every customer that wanders on in.

There's so much hype behind this Sigur Ros, I was hoping some major fan of theirs who has seen them live could sell me on how awesome they are.

Perhaps you should watch their live DVD, Heima. It would be very engaging, even if you aren't completely sold on the music.

Also, as someone else said, try out Takk and ( ). Both are excellent.

I'm not a HUGE fan of Sigur Ros, but I can confirm that they put on an incredible show.

Try giving Takk... a listen. It's easily their most accessible album, and they usually play a lot of material from it in their shows.

The main thing that dampened by experience was the set list...especially because they played my favorite song at Edgefield.

But I would love to see Sigur Ros in an outdoor setting. Especially the fucking Gorge.

Sigur Ros are phenomenal live and on record because they seamlessly blend the beautiful and the weird. If you can do beautiful and weird, you are brilliant in my book.

What's your favorite song, Gang?

The article says they plan on hitting the road in June, so I'm going to respectfully disagree with you.
