As much as you guys have been preaching about how bad the xx live shows are, I'm still rather curious to see them.
Especially considering that I got dragged to see Tegan & Sara back in 2010. Remember when they accidently said that Kid Cudi was *not* a hard act to follow? xD

The XX was awesome in 2010 at the Bigfoot. I remember being overwhelmed by the sound even though there were only 3 instruments - it was a really intense show.

i am at a loss to explain how the xx are getting all of these top-tier festival slots. sure, their music works well for being in a dimly-lit hipster bar, but the live act is possibly the most boring i've ever seen. zero stage presence whatsoever. i saw them "headline" treasure island last year and they were completely blown out of the water by m83 and the gossip before them. it was like, "hey, hope you enjoyed those awesome shows, now take a nap." for fuck's sake.
if they do headline sasquatch, hopefully it's when empire of the sun is doing a late night set.
