Roo generally announces around Valentine's or so.

Okay, an employee from Bonnaroo asked that myself and the other people doing it stop sending emails. I'm going to comply with that so I don't get in any trouble haha. I have some emails out so will post if I get any responses, but won't be sending anything new. I hope y'all like the names you got. Have a great festival!

In regards to Why?:

Unfortunately, we're not playing either this year. We really tried for Bonnaroo, but it just didn't quite work out.

I think inforoo is considered an unofficial board these days (not positive on that) but people there do have contact with AC/Superfly employees. For example, some members are really enthusiastic about Moogfest. This year Ashley Capps met them at the fest and gave them a cake for all their dedication. He also took some questions from them. I've seen people say Bonnaroo is generally aware of what happens on the board and that they read our suggestions, complaints, etc. Not sure what all the connection entails, but I'm going to respect what they asked of us so the board doesn't get in trouble.

ya I'd neve spent more than 5 minutes on that board. It's the exact same format (proboards) in uglier colors and quite clearly unofficial. Not that that matters much. They represent the festival anyway.

Haha nah I'm going to be done now. I honestly already emailed every band I wanted to after a round I just did tonight. I contacted over 100 total so there might be a few more responses coming in. If y'all want to pick up the torch you can find lots of managers/agents via Facebook pages and band websites. It was good while it lasted.

Blackalicious are going to be releasing a new album this year and are going on tour (playing Vancouver, BC Feb 3rd).
Also David Bowie is releasing a new record (first in about 10 years) in March. Chances of him playing Sasquatch are very unlikely I know but we can dream can't we!
