After actually listening to the album I retract everything I said. They don't really sound like any of those bands and they're on Jagjaguwar, not a major label. I kind of hope they end up at Sasquatch now.

I actually love Foxygen's new album. I'm not quite sure why I'm enjoying it so much, but I've been listening to it all day.

They sound like they grew up with a few Donavon records and loved Wes Anderson soundtracks. Which maybe would be a good place for inspiration, but they literally sound exactly like that and nothing more. As if they put both of those elements in a blender (along with a tender heart) and let their precious kid sister, who probably gives her shoes human names and actively converses with them on the bus ride to school, name the band.

Maybe this year they will do an all acoustic Sasquatch and the headliner will be James Taylor and special guests Cher.

The National are playing a show at the Barclays Center on June 5th. So they'll be playing shows around the Sasquatch time.

I feel like Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are going to be at Coachella based on their dates. I know that Sasquatch generally doesn't have the same highly booked acts as Sasquatch but I am curious where you guys think that they would be slotted at Coachella. Do you think they would do both festivals?

That would be fucking awesome. Sasquatch, that is, because I can't go to Coachella.

Fuck man I know! I only wish that Sasquatch could get some of the acts Sasquatch gets. Either that or it would be great if Sasquatch was closer to where I live than Sasquatch is.

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, like Elvis Costello & Whatever Band He Currently Tours With That Isn't the Attractions, just wouldn't go over at Sasquatch. That's a headliner-caliber act, and Nick Cave ain't gonna move Sasquatch tickets based on that.

Nick Cave would be a perfect Bigfoot headliner, IMO anyways.

I also think that Edward Sharpe should be playing again this year. He is playing a festival in March and is about do to play Sasquatch again.

Why. What's wrong with Nick Cave and Edward Sharpe?
