Microcastle is one of my favorite albums by a long shot and the jam at the end of Nothing Ever Happened was beyond words. My girlfriend who was indifferent to them at the time was freaking out after. Amazing show. Made better by our nameless, wonderful, Canadian friend we kept running into that weekend who would ask us every five minutes or so whether we wanted some vodka. I miss that dude.

I've only ever seen videos Nothing Ever Happened live. It seems amazing though, I'm jealous of all of you that have had a chance to see Deerhunter.
Let's hope that they keep announcing festival dates and that Sasquatch is one of them.

Not true. My boner for the Decemberists died years ago.

But you still go see them every time. Your boner has mellowed.

I watched them in '09 because they were playing Hazards of Love and I thought that would be interesting -- and it kinda was -- and also because Animal Collective went on right after they did.

We watched them in 2011 because it was Monday night and all I was capable of was parking my ass on the hill and trying to keep warm.

I'd be very surprised if Mumford & Sons don't make an appearance at Sasquatch 2013. I am also curious about Passion Pit, Fiona Apple, the Shins, The XX, Phantogram, Animal Collective, M83, and No Doubt.

Hi everyone! :)

Hi HG! Good to be back! I just realized you sent me a message a while ago that Facebook decided to put in a different inbox. Way to go, Facebook! <slow clap> Sorry about that :(

I'm not sure whether or not I'd speculate their Sasquatch appearance since she was there last year, but holy fuck I'd kill to see St. Vincent and David Byrne there. What an incredible show they put on together. Probably not the best for a music festival, though. Did anyone else see them for their Love This Giant tour?

Geno was at that show. Fucker even got to meet David Byrne afterwards. I was sad to have had to miss it, but for all the love I have for David Byrne and St. Vincent (a LOT), Love This Giant didn't do much for me for some reason.

And no worries about the misplaced Facebutt message. We ended up being pretty severely goofy on the night in question.

I saw them in Seattle and they were phenomenal. An entire brass band laying on the ground playing Cheerleader? Count me in. Over and over and over.

Ugh, tell me about it! The show blew me away. Love This Giant took a little while to grow on me but that show sealed the deal as far as I'm concerned. "I Am An Ape" and "Ice Age" were stand outs for me.

Here's a big one in terms of wishful thinking, but what about Jeff Mangum? He's been touring a lot more recently and played the Maximum Ames Music Festival in Iowa this past September. Maybe Sasquatch isn't *entirely* out of the question? Unlikely, but I'll still keep my fingers crossed.

Hey log lady!

I'd be surprised to see Jeff Mangum on the esurance Yeti Stage or Honda Bigfoot stage, if you get my drift.

Hi Drew! Sadly you are 100% right about Jeff Mangum. A tad too corporate for his taste, I assume. At least I caught him at the Crystal. :)
