May 24th
The Who/ Elvis Costello/The Kinks/Animal Collective/ the Vines / TV on the Radio/Primus/Yeah Yeah Yeahs/ the Raconteurs /of Montreal/Iron&Wine/MGMT/Ghostland Observatory/Black Rebel Motorcycle Club/Blitzen Trapper/ A Band of Bees/The Fratellis/Eagles of Death Metal/ King Khan & The Shrines/

May 25th
Pearl Jam/Neil Young/Kings of Leon/ Tenacious D/Sonic Youth/the Black Keys /the Shins/Counting Crows/Snow Patrol/ Peter Bjorn and John/Cold War Kids/Vampire Weekend/Daft Punk/ Bon Iver/Belle&Sebastian/Buckethead/Kaiser Chiefs/ Elbow/They Might Be Giants/Ween

Comedy: Patton Oswalt, Eddie Izzard, Jim GafDr. Garbanzoan, Mike Birbiglia,Lewis Black,

Just my dream lineup that is not totally unrealistic but way out there. I was hoping for a lot of these bands but hey they are some good undercard bands that are pretty good so it might be worth it

What if you were in charge of a festival and could get anyone you wanted what would your lineup look like?

This lineup would be extremely expensive especally with three or four healine material bands each night but i wonder if you could get the money for them then would the massive amount of people coming to see these artists if it would pay for its self

Wow. You realize how insane that lineup would be? Tickets would be twice as much... But I wouldn't hesitate.
It just must mean next year will be better for ALL festivals.

That would have been a great wish list before the lineup was released, albeit a very very unlikely list that many festivals fans would die to see. I applaud the effort, but come on, the lineup came out today, have fun with who is going to be there instead of bitching about who isn't.

I know its a bit late but by the time i got around to posting it it was today when i was checking for the lineup so i know it should have been there two months ago. I wasnt trying to bitch When i first looked at the lineup i saw the headlines it was a general meh sound that came out of my mouth but after looking over the lineup more thoroughly i would have to say they are some good bands showing up i.e. of Montreal, Explosions, Bon Iver....so im still stocked about going

needless to say that lineup would be 100x better than what we got. could sasquatch even afford all of those bands, though? probably not. and christ mars volta were so terrible last year, i don't know how they could be on anyone's dream lineup if you saw them.

There will be about 80% of people at festivals who think they are horrible (Mars Volta that is), and 20% who will be extremely impressed. Count me as the 20%. I can't wait to see them live at a smaller venue. They don't appeal to non-fans, or the average festival attendee.

i enjoy their albums, but they really disappointed me with their live performance last year. i saw about 70 bands (some repeats) in '08 and mars volta were the worst by far. high five on the lebowski reference ;D

you say this lineup is not totally unrealistic but you're kidding yourself. on just saturday you have 3 people sasquatch probably couldn't get as headliners and 3 more that have been the openers in past years.
