On 1077 The End's website is says that MGMT is playing. There a band with a lot of buzz, I wonder if they will be added?

If the Mars Volta are added I will be beside myself with happiness. That would put this line up over the top.
And MGMT make sense, I could see them being added.

holy crap, this one gets me excited. the UK's 'foals' have just released their north american dates. theres a pretty big gap between LA and Portland, but wow, just maybe...

Is that Vancouver Canada or Vancouver Wa? If the belt sander, doubtful. If the former..still doubtful, but they'd have a nutty tour schedule to accommodate it.

I feel bad for everyone who skipped any bands to see Spearhead, cuz he played at the end of the night after the Beasties were ending.
1and2 on the list, both are 50/50. Tegan and Sara are hugely popular and sell out anything they play up here, but that's something a second stager needs.
Walla is very likely
Not so much the postal service.
Nada Surf/Harvey Danger (and Fall of Troy, Schoolyard Heroes, etc.). Look how many local bands there are. Look how many will likely be on other stages (Walla? Blue Scholars? Tegan/Sara?). They usually run a 6-8 band local stage. Do we have 18-24 of those yet? If not, expect more.
Tokyo Police: Well, they hit both Washington festivals last year didn't they? I'm not sure how eager either side is to have them back, based on thenumber of repeats though, it's possible.
Eddie Vedder would be a huge pull for Sasquatch, and would likely be announced very soon or very late, either to boost early sales or hold up flagging ones

richards on richards is vancover canada. it was just the 4 days inbetween LA and Portland that would allow a large enough gap for a sasq performance. just a possibility thats all.

Weird that they'd do Portland, then Vancouver, then Seattle..you'd think Seattle and Vancouver would be flipped.

But they lived and recorded a lot of their music in BC for a long time so there's your NW connection. I think Tegan and Sara will be early on the main stage if only because they're listed above Ozomatli and New Pornographers on the website

I'm totally stoked about the possibility of MGMT being there. I'm hoping with all my might that one of the "bigger" bands still to be announced is either the Raconteurs or someone of that magnitude.
Can someone give me some suggestions for the Mars Volta bc I never got into them!

I guess there last album was how bout their first 2? I agree that there is that connection. But take this for what its worth Bon Jovi have recorded 3 albums in Vancouver and Richie Sambora has a house there. Are they from the PNW or are they from Jersey?

MGMT would be sweet. A lot of fun to listen to, and would definitely be a band worth going to see!

I think you're either totally into them or they're just not for you but there's really no in between. I know lot's of people have problems with the time signatures they use but as a former percussionist I have no prob convulsing along to the beat. *fingers crossed they get confirmed
