Another big act to Monday? Monday already has the most amount of "big" acts. The Flaming Lips, The Mars Volta, Rodrigo y Gabriela and Flight of the Conchords... what more could you want? Not to mention, Battles, Ghostland Observatory and The Hives. Monday is easily the most stacked day on the line up and I am scared to death of conflicts.

Monday has no room for any more big acts. In fact, I dont't think this line up has room for any more big acts at all. Perhaps Saturday and Sunday, but definately not Monday.

Quote:Monday is going to have acts with extremely long set times though. The Flaming Lips are going to have 2 hours, maybe even 2 and half. The Mars Volta are going to have at least an hour and half, maybe 2 hours. Who knows what the deal with Flight of the Conchords is. And Rodrigo y Gabriela are probably also going to get an hour. Maybe more. Also, I am scared to death of conflicts on Monday. If Battles, Ghostland Observatory, The Hives and/or Rodrigo y Gabriela, conflict in any way, shape or form, I will be very upset. |

God help us all if The Mars Volta play for more than an hour. If they do, they will still probably only play 2 or 3 half-hour songs. As a life-long Tool fan I'm all about the prog-rock, but these guys really try my patience.

Quote:| We know that Vampire Weekend and MGMT are confirmed but need to be added. Hopefully there will be one more "big" act added to monday, but whatever. |

For the last time, people: VAMPIRE WEEKEND WILL BE IN GERMANY DURING SASQUATCH. It's unfortunate, but absolutely true. Every band on the planet has a website these days, or at least a myspace page. If you check Vampire Weekend's, you'll see that they'll be visiting Munich, Germany, while the rest of us are visiting the Gorge.

Do you think the Ryan Adams opening for Oasis in Seattle at the end of summer eliminates the possibilty of him being added? It seems far enough off that it wouldn't, but it could explain why he appeared on the original poster and is now gone.

When I saw the Mars Volta open up for System of A Down they played an hour and 10 minutes. When they opened up for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, they played an hour and 20 minutes. I have never even heard of a Mars Volta show shorter then an hour. I can garuntee you they will play atleast an hour and half at Sasquatch. I am hoping for 2 hours. They are fucking amazing live.
