So I don't think my predictions for headliners will change in the next two days, and since Felix has me duped, my final predictions are:

Jane's Addiction / Nine Inch Nails / Ben Harper & Relentless7 / Kings Of Leon

I wish I would've gone last year. Those are good headliners, but not quite for me. I love Ben Harper's voice and guitar skills, can't seem to get into Kings of Leon, and Jane's and NIN are just so-so for me.

Last year was a blast and while I liked seeing REM and the Cure, the highlights for me were not the headliners. Seeing Okkervil River, Malkmus, Breeders on the second stage while having a few beers was the best. New Porns, PUSA and MIA were my main stage highlights.

That sounds like 2 days. Where are the other headliners?

offyerhead is right... I'm guilty of getting caught up in the "disappointment" of the alleged headliners, but the real fun last year was FotC, the Hives, Rogue Wave, the Kooks, and tons of others. The only headliner that was truly stellar was FLAMING FUCKING LIPS...

Yeah, REM and The Cure were both snores (and I went there stoked on both).

I was very into REM, great great show during and after the rain. Very fun. The cure on the otherhand.... Not all that great. The highlight of the Cure set was Brian Posehn sitting in front of me smoking tons of weed

100% disagree, but that's fine, to each their own.

I didn't know much about REM or the Cure outside of their mainstream radio songs, so they were about equal in my mind heading into the fest. I wouldn't pay to see either, but I get to see them at a festival I am already going to, so why not? REM didn't put me to sleep, but I do not recall a single memorable moment, outside of when it started to rain, which was welcome at the time. I was very impressed with the Cure though, and now listen to them frequently because of this. My Cure experience might have been a bit whiskey induced though.

As someone who's gone 4 years in a row I'm going to be very very disappointed if this is the real lineup. I'll still probably go but those headliners are just pathetic. Nine inch Nails will be great but I've already seen them and don't really need to see them again. This dance tent better be really fun...

The only highlight from REM's set was Stipe taking off his sock, smelling it, and tossing it into the crowd. The Cure were a complete zzzzzzzz. Only the FLAMING FUCKING LIPS achieved true headliner status last year. Same goes for Bjork and The Beastie Boys in '07. They had incredible sets.

Yeah, Jane's Addiction and NIN aren't the best headliners (if that list is true) but there's more to Sasquatch than great headliners.

NIN is an amazing live band, the Lights in the Sky show is one of the most inventive things I've ever seen or worked.

I guess there should be a distinction between a band that has great music and a band that is great live. I don't think the two are always connected.

There are a handful of NIN songs that are really popular, so if they're amazing live, that might be enough to win over nonfans.
