In no order:

Jack White
Feist
Silversun Pickups
Mark Lanegan
Spiritualized
Explosions In The Sky
Mogwai
Pretty Lights
Beck

and I can't commit to a 10th. I'm having so much fun doing the research this year. There's about 10 more that I was hemming and hawing on for the tenth spot. Gonna be a freakin' great year.

Yep.

I still don't understand why Donald Glover isn't going to be doing his comedy routine as well. It would have been perfect.

What is a regular Childish Gambino show like? Maybe it is a mix of the two.

I was implying that Childish Gambino is a comedy routine because of the suckiness and embarrassing lyrics.

Donal Glover is a hell of a performer, though. I will give him that.

Well since the thread became THE TOP 10 I thought I’d top of my list.
So here we go in no particular order:
1. Shearwater - Powerful stage presence via the voice of Meiburg and percussion of Thor.
2. Active Child - Fusing a choir boy voice a harp and adding a bit of an electronic edge seems to interesting to pass up.
3. Beck - He's Beck and i've yet to see him live (fail on my part).
4. Mogwai - Next to Talk Talk and Slint probably my favorite post-rock outfit. Especially when they get LOUD.
5. Craft Spells - I'm really digging the New New Order thing.
6. The Walkmen
7. Spiritualized
8. An hour or so in a packed Banana Shack (artist doesn’t matter)
9. The War on Drugs
10. Beirut

When I saw him last year, he split up his stand up and rapping into two different sets. I don't think he does his stand up in the middle of his Childish Gambino sets.

Yeah if Childish Gambino wasn't Donald Glover I probably would hate him. But it's Donald Glover which immediately makes him awesome.
