Saw this recently and felt that it should be shared here as well.
This is also worth watching:
If it means going to the venue by myself at noon because the rest of my friends are sleeping, so be it. Not a chance I'm missing Beardyman. Should be a helluva comedy/music act.

I like this thread idea, so I'll try to contribute. The Metric write up doesn't do them justice (good writeup, they're just that good). I've seen them 4 times. Once Emily Haines tried to incite the crowd into rushing the stage, and at least twice she has fully mounted her keyboard during her keyboard solos. HAWWWT. They are incredible live.
My contribution
THE SHEEPDOGS (noon on Monday at the main stage) :
70s rock is back. This band was performing in bars in and around Saskatoon, Saskatchewan just about 15 months ago. They hit it big with the song "I don't know", won a Rolling Stone contest to be on the cover, and blew up huge. I don't know if they're equally big in the US, but they are getting there up here.
They came through my city twice in 3 months. Once playing a 500 person venue, and the next time opening for kings of leon at a sold out 17k capacity arena. That says it all. I've never seen them live, but heard nothing but good things.
When you hear them, you'll say "man that's a cool song", what classic rock band is that? The Sheepdogs have clearly invented a time machine that they aren't sharing with us.

I saw the Sheepdogs at Bonnaroo when they were finalists for that Rolling Stone cover, voted for 'em. Solid beard-rock and probably fit very well as an opener for Kings of Leon; probably worth a look if you can make it into the festival by their noonish spot but not compelling enough for me for a return trip.

Childish Gambino is led by a comedian named Donald Glover. I saw his early routines on a site called collegehumor.com. Hes also become very popular from Comedy Central and now is venturing out into the music world with his ensemble called "Childish Gambino". Although many dislike the product of his musicianship, he is a very established entertainer and maintains a high level of energy and excitement for his fans.
