Looks like this gives us a good idea of what Unknown Mortal Orchestra sounds like when not shrouded in their AM production. I like what I hear. That drummer is great.

Those guys are a snorefest. I tried listening to them while checking out a bunch of bands I don't know (which, holy jumpin' hell in July there are a lot of!) and almost fell asleep, so I put on Girl Talk instead and was no lomger sleepy.

Maybe those War guys are better live, but IDK.

Nope, but I did help shoot a live music video (which never saw the light of day unfortunately...) of them in the basement of The Holocene in Portland last fall. They are fantastic musicians. Really chill group of dudes too.
