Pretty Lights is also headlining Wakarusa so it doesn't surprise me that he grabbed a headlining slot here. Much like Bassnectar he's been playing dedicatedly building his fan bass with a ton of shows both small, large, and festival. Much classier and more original choice than Skrillex or Deadmau5. Mau is meh compared to other EDM artists that I consider top tier.

No. Pretty Lights is far more of a musician than Deadmau5 ever will be. Some tracks on Random Album Title had some interesting build ups and progressions but Deadmau5 is a fad beyond that. Pretty Lights' soulful electro glitch hop will lend its sound to the Gorge significantly more than Deadmau5's minimal house.
Glowpocalypse round 2 will be wild. Let's just hope people wait for the drop this time before launching their glow sticks.

I guess Snacks just decided this was the year for an electro headliner and the options are pretty slim as far as crossover appeal goes. The Pretty Lights/Girl Talk combo is way better than just about anything else i can imagine

Too quiet. I'd like the flow to go 2 crazy dance party nights in a row, Bon Iver cool down in order to re-energize and see Beck on Monday.

More than likely won't happen though. Usually big headliners go first, then the smaller ones. Monday always has least attendance and they know lots of people would be pissed for missing Beck, Jack White, or Bon Iver. Unless they play late after sets and the Shins take the 4th day.

Maybe late-night sets will be after the headliners on the main stage? So Girl Talk and Pretty Lights each have a late-night set on the main stage? Or is Electro Friday happening for sure? The website isn't working for me right now.
In other words, HOLY FUCK I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED! I already know of atleast 5 people including myself that are bringing 1000 glow sticks. This is going to be insane.
