No kidding, the undercard this year is phenomenal in my opinion. They must have made tons of extra money last year with the fourth day to pull off a lineup like this.

Nah I doubt it. None of the headliners this year are anything extravagant. They can afford deep lineups because they skip out on the "holy fuck!" headliners.

Particularly underwhelmed by it this year. There's some nuggets in there -- Cloud Cult, Ted Leo + the Pharmacists (aweseome), Active Child (hoping they'll do their Philistines Jr cover). But the entire bottom half of that poster is a fucking wasteland. My guess is that was their attempt to discourage people from taking advantage of re-entry.

Haha maybe Loutallica was on the lineup, but then word got out early and someone from the festival saw our reaction to it here on the board and either pulled them from the lineup or just decided not to tell us, and we'll end up being surprised when they take the stage.

Then THEY'LL end up being surprised when we start throwing shit at them and booing.

Do you think that entails a nixing of late night sets altogether, or that Roots/EITS/Mogwai will get to step up to that plate?

And fuck me, electro Friday will be a shiiiiiitshow. I made the questionable decision of going to Identity festival at the Gorge last year, which featured Pretty Lights on the mainstage. It was so littered with lumbering fratboys and screaming sluts that I felt like I was cheating on Sasquatch with Tara Reid. It was dirty, but a good dirty. I suspect Friday will be very similar.
