I am sorry but I saw the Roots at the DMB festival this summer and it was boring. I know I just commited board suicide but really, it was boring. I was even super pumped to see them and it was like watching Larry King live on a bottle of vicodin. In other news....Beck! Tenacious D! The Shins! Feist! Helio Sequence! M. Ward!

I loved the Dead Weather, where did you see them? I saw them at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver and that was a great show. Caught Jack's drumstick from his snare hand (clearly had been used). Great in a small club environment. Also instantly fell in love with Alison Mosshart.
