I'm trying to turn this into a positive.
Foster the People were on the Yeti and they attracted a big crowd last summer. Scratch that. They had a GIGANTIC crowd.

Additionally, I think she's a great fit for the yeti. I caught her at a small venue in Atlanta that holds no more than 125 people. Her style certainly accomidates an intimate crowd and atmosphere. The yeti will help sustain that feel.

Modern Guilt is the most non-weird Beck album there is, but the songs are good. The problem is that you hear too much Danger Mouse production in it.

Why is Beck being compared to Bright Eyes at all?

Beck is going to absolutely be the best performance of the entire weekend. Very excited to see this happen!

He's not. Burrito just didn't really have a handle on either of them.

I'm huge Beck fan. But I know when shit stinks. I was once a pretty big Bright Eyes fan. Did I think it was acceptable for Conor Oberst to fucking emo out with his hood on for 4 songs at 2011? Absolutely not.

This lineup just needs 1 party hip hop group a la Das Racist. The only thing missing right now.

If you can hear Nicotine & Gravy and not have a smile, something is wrong.

I gotta say FD, the best part of that Beck vid was the Quincy Jones shot. I'm just not feelin' Beck. Modern Guilt was no good either. I'm giving Odelay a shot, and if I don't like that I'm just going to hope Explosions in the Sky or Mogwai play on the Bigfoot during his set.

Didn't see Foster the People, but Why? dominated the Yeti in 2010. It can be done.
