Yup, geno would probably be the only one here to fully support this idea.\

I for one do not support this, but it ain't up to me who Mr. Snacky-wacky books.

I'm offended that you guys think that I would be into those "hardcore scene kid" bands. Bleh.

Here is a fun game I like to play when seeing a picture of a band I am unfamiliar with. Which person plays which instrument? Someone who actually knows who this band is will have to score me.

Front and center is the lead singer, the long haired face painted guy next to him is the guitar player, or more specifically, lead guitar player. The guy on the far right is the drummer. This game is tougher when there are more than four band members, and the guy in the hat is really throwing me off. If they have a button pusher/electronic guy, that is him, making the guy on the far left the bassist. If it is a two guitar band, the guy in the hat is the bassist, and the guy on the far left is rhythm guitar.

How is my aim?

geno, you like everything! hahaha (i've listened to avenged once or twice)

I just meant that I don't see this as a fit for sasquatch. It really doesn't matter to me if you like "scene" bands, hipster bands, fucking harps, WHATEVER, but there has to be a logical line when it comes to the acts that this festival is booking.

i think it would make sense. hardcore is a popular genre and there were a lot of heavy bands last year. it would make sense to do the same thing this year except with a lot more bands.

Still one of the funniest videos I've ever seen.

Also Geno, I wasn't saying that you like the band/s he mentioned, only that of all of the boarders, your musical taste fall closest inline with the word hardcore. I don't really know what falls under the hardcore umbrella.

You're discussing a radical shift in the direction and fan base of the festival. How is that logical? "Hardcore" is not as popular as you think it is. "Indie", "Folk", "EDM" and combinations and mutations of the above bring the ladies, the ladies bring the boys and they sell out the festival. Bing bang boom. Why change a winning (see profitable) formula?

These are honest questions. Feel free to address them.

I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, but perhaps Pea was right.

I listen to hardcore punk from the 80's, but that's completely different from the kind of hardcore he's talking about.

The best part of sasquatch last year was the aggressive pits. it only makes sense to bring back the best part of last year and make it even better.
