Davers, I have been a Massive Attack fan for almost 15 years. They may not be huge, but they are definitely super well known if you came up in the late 90's early 00's.

I'm pretty sure the majority of people in North America know Massive Attack as "the House theme song band" or "the band with that song in Snatch".

You know what my wish list would be? Re-do the 2010 lineup so those of us that missed it can not feel so damn choked about it.

You may have a point, I just checked and in 1998 they both released albums and both charted #1 in the UK but Pulp charted 114 and Massive Attack charted 60 in the US.

I Dr. Garbanzoured because everyone kept saying Pulp could headline Coachella that they would headline Sasquatch no problem. Then again 'everyone' is people on the interwebs who make fake Coachella posters.

I guess its just really hard to guage the popularity of bands that have already peaked and were never all that popular in the States to begin with.

FYI --- Pulp have headlined every major European festival during their career, including Glastonbury twice.

Just wanted to sneak in here and say that mine was supposed to be a joke, and I wasn't sure if you all knew that.

Truth is, I didn't know most of the bands going last year and I probably won't this year either. I think that's the best part for me; finding new favourites.
