Havent heard that name thrown around in a while but I'll second that one.
Also, there's a band called The Proper Villains. They won a contest to open Live at Squamish and I thought they did a great job.
They have a song on the radio in Vancouver so they might get some sort of turnout and they would probably do the show for next to nothing since they are just starting out. And I might be in love with the girl singer.

Just a thought, maybe make a poll of bands you think have a good chance so you dont have to give him a list of 674 bands?

If Inni was an actual proper new Sigur Ros release then I would fully expect them to make some festival stops next year, but this could all be a push from their record company to bring in some cash and may not actually have anything to do with them coming out of their hiatus. Fingers definitely crossed though...

Blur and Pulp would be outstanding!! I'd almost prefer them to Radiohead (if that rumour rings true).

I would too. However, although Blur might still go over at a place like Sasquatch, Pulp just wouldn't. I have a feeling Pulp would pull about as big a crowd as Guided By Voices did, and for that I just don't think they'd do it. I'd be fucking embarrassed to have Pulp doing an extremely rare U.S. America gig in front of six hundred mostly uninterested assholes at 5:00pm.
God, I'd take Pulp over just about anything, though.

Pulp would be one of the greatest shows ever.
Do you really think that Pulp would have that low of a turnout?
